About the Guy

B Valentine was born and raised in South Carolina and was brought up going to Union Baptist Church. He grew up with his mother, his father, and his older brother who unfortunately passed away in 2021. He can be a rather sensitive soul with a creative mind. He likes to get along with people, but has realized that such is not always possible. He has an open mind and varied interests, so it's hard to for him to stick with one niche or to fit himself in a box. In fact, he has different aspects that some might find to be contradictory, but in his mind, he doesn't see it that way. He is a believer in Christ, but that doesn't mean that he is necessarily "religious" in the sense that people feel they have to act a certain way around him, nor should they expect for him to act a certain way. Little things like drinking socially, some profanity from other people, rated-R movies and shows, etc. doesn't really bother him. Ultimately, he feels that the main thing is to be a moral and ethical person and to not unjustly hurt or harm anyone or wrong anyone.

Although he is interested in knowing the truth about God and life, which can be reflected in his books, he also has peculiar interests in things such as science fiction, the paranormal, and the latest technology. Some of his books may touch on these matters as well. He is also deeply into self-help and philosophy. His life has had its share of pain and sadness. Much of the self-help material in his books come from those things in the hope that, perhaps, they may help someone else along the way in order to get through the storm as well.

Overall, his journey, however sad it may have been, is still going. Ultimately, what he wants to find in the end is the understanding of what it was all about and to finally be free.
